Trump Attacks Conservative SCOTUS Justices
The Manbaby-in-Chief Throws Massive Temper Tantrum After Tariff Defeat
So the self-proclaimed 'nation’s top law enforcement officer’ just told the United States Supreme Court to ‘fuck off’. So much for upholding the law.
The highest court on Friday delivered a devastating legal, political and personal blow to Trump in its 6-3 ruling which called his tariff policy illegal and unconstitutional. Three conservatives justices—Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett, who he appointed, along with Chief Justice John Roberts— joined with the liberal justices to strike down the controversial policy.
Predictably, Trump took to the podium shortly thereafter and proceeded to throw a temper tantrum like a petulant toddler who just had his favorite toy taken away. For almost an hour he vented his fury against the three justices, calling them “fools and lap dogs", accused them, without evidence, of being corrupted by "foreign interests", said they are “an embarrassment to their families”, and are "very unpatriotic and disloyal to our Constitution.“
And when asked by a reporter if the justices will still be invited to his State of the Union address Tuesday, he replied that they're "barely invited".
Wah, wah, wah…
And in a giant FUCK YOU to the court, the rule of law and our judicial system overall, Trump then angrily and defiantly announced he’s immediately imposing an across-the-board 10% global tariff on all imported goods, which he has since increased to 15%.
But that’s just the sort of abuse of tariffs that ultimately got Trump in trouble with SCOTUS in the first place. The justices watched this past year as he wielding tariffs as weapons of punishment and extortion against countries and their leaders because he doesn’t like their “attitude”, or that they won’t capitulate to his Greenland demands (Europe), or that they won’t end prosecution of his corrupt pals (Brazil / Bolsonaro).
In short, they watched and weighed Trump’s invoking of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) as justification for his erratic, roller-coaster tariff chaos. And they decided that there were no ‘emergencies’ and that the legislation did not give him the authority to impose tariffs, and that since tariffs are taxes, the power of taxation lies solely with Congress, not the executive branch.
And now several questions remain:
-Will Trump in some way attack the justices during his SOTU address Tuesday?:
-Are the justices, with Friday’s ruling, basically saying ‘enough’ with his autocratic bullshit? Has he now burned a very consequential bridge relating to his agenda going forward?
-What will happen after 150 days, when the temporary period granted Trump under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974, which he invoked, expires? The rarely-used law allows him to impose tariffs up to 15 percent to combat a “large and serious balance-of-payment deficit”.
-Will Congress bow to Trump’s strong-arming tactics and ultimately extend the tariff period? Worse, will they abdicate their power and in some convoluted manner sign over their control over tariffs and taxes to placate him?
-What about refunds? Shouldn’t money that was collected illegally have to be returned to the American importers, companies and consumers who paid them? And how will this work? SCOTUS did not address this problem in its ruling.
-And lastly, can/should the optimists take a real victory lap and feel confident about checks and balances, the balance of power, and the health and strength of our democracy overall? That we are not in danger of slipping into autocracy despite Trump’s fervent attempts to do so? That, yes, we have guardrails, and that they are holding?
Only time will tell, but one thing’s certain: Trump is in trouble. He constantly loses in the lower courts and now the Supreme Court is rejecting his autocratic overreach. He’s being hounded and haunted by his Epstein existential crisis. He’s beginning to get serious pushback from Congressional Republicans. He’s lost independent voters, Hispanics, Gen Z, and his once-solid grip on non-college voters is slipping as well.
Even MAGA is splintering, and the base overall is becoming angry as fuck over the continued rise of inflation and grocery prices…serious economic “America first” issues which Trump promised to focus on like a laser. Instead, he’s been playing Global Godzilla, spewing his toxic fire breath and stomping his angry little cankled baby feet all over the world on one nonsensical whim after another. His popularity has cratered into the mid 30’s and he’s underwater on all of his signature issues.
In short, he’s fucked. And so is the GOP as it heads towards a much-feared blue tidal wave in November’s midterm elections.
Which is why Trump’s been threatening to attack Iran. Because it’s time to wag the dog again. He needs a distraction from the tariff loss, Epstein, inflation, and his overall failures.
So, strap yourselves in, kids. I suspect the road ahead’s gonna get pretty pretty bumpy…

That’s exactly what it was and they showed him who’s boss.
I have a feeling that the justices see the writing on the wall that the Democrats are gaining ground and are worried about their own "life-long positions on the Court as they should.
Impeachment is in their future if they keep siding with trump
